Miniature Travel
Miniature Travel is a residential interior design for a home of 99 square meters. Classic elements are combined with modern minimalism, and simple moldings on the walls create a neoclassical atmosphere and add depth to each room. In the entryway, a floor of interlaced white stone pattern and copper strips meets a dark blue wall and an elegant cabinet with a dark green line, showing a gradation of colors. Marble, titanium-plated metal, glass and natural veneer are used throughout. The display cabinets are kept low to extend the visual scale of the marble back wall.
Miniature Travel House by TaWen Huang has been highlighted as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Miniature Travel House won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
