Boyue Wedding
Boyue Wedding is a wedding venue building complex in Shangrao, China. The complex has a building area of 8000 square meters and is composed of three independent buildings. A wing-shaped installation forms the entrance lobby and connects the three buildings. The design concept is inspired by Greek mythology and represents a pair of wings of time. The shape also resembles the letter W, the initial of the word wedding. The main materials are aluminum plate, iron, flower art and crystal lamps. The complex contains a church, a lobby, a banquet hall and themed wedding halls.
Boyue Wedding Hall by James Lai has been recognized as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Boyue Wedding Hall earned the Iron A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2022. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that honors excellent design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
