Guobin Road
Sunac Guobin Road is a residential complex located at the foot of Nanyue Mountain in Guiyang. The site lies where the city meets nature and where the old city meets the new city. The buildings face the Nanming River and follow the slope through multi-level platforms, which solve the complex height differences of the terrain. The terrain also reduces road noise from the east. Stone and glass curtain walls are used, with creamy-white and dark gray tones. Vertical components and floating plates form the tops of the buildings and extend the view toward the landscape.
Guobin Road Residential by Sunac Sunac has been selected as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Guobin Road Residential won the Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2022. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade which honors outstanding design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
