Aranya
Aranya is a reception center built beside a wetland park in Qinhuangdao. The building uses white steel frames, geometric boxes and large glass curtain walls, so the natural setting stays visible from inside. The interior takes the calm and solemn character of a church as a reference to create a peaceful atmosphere. The ceiling is covered with wood fiber sound absorbing boards that reduce noise in busy periods. Reception bars in box form stand at the entrances to guide and separate visitor flow. An acrylic display wall presents community activities.
Aranya Homes Reception Center by Y SPACE DESIGN CONSULTING FIRM has been recognized as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Aranya Homes Reception Center earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
