Live and Let Live
Live and Let Live is an exhibition about endangered animals, presented in a 127 square metre space in Guangzhou. The exhibition shows lively scenes of polar bears, snub-nosed monkeys, red pandas, koalas and shoebills. The animal sculptures are made from recycled cardboard. Interactive installations extend the environmental theme. A large seesaw places people on one side and animals on the other, and the seesaw tilts when a visitor stands on a scale in the middle. The aim is to raise awareness of species loss.
Live and Let Live Exhibition by Ocean Liang has been highlighted as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Live and Let Live Exhibition was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize which rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
