Longwan
Longwan Three Realms is a sales center covering 480 square meters. The layout uses circulation paths to divide functional areas and guide visitors. A custom wooden grille system encloses space while remaining permeable, keeping the original building frame and reducing added elements. Materials with natural qualities are layered to engage sight, touch and smell. A crushed stone mosaic floor reuses stone waste and avoids the cold feeling of standard marble or tiles. Art installations are made of pulp, a recyclable and easily shaped material. The design aims to convey calm and positive emotion.
Longwan Sales Center by Alan Wong has been selected as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Longwan Sales Center received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
