Smart City
Smart City is an exhibition design created for an international municipal innovation exhibition and conference held in Tel Aviv, Israel. The design covers 3000 square meters and includes a registration hall, a VIP lounge, business meeting rooms, conference stages and a gala venue. The concept is based on a vertical city rising above an increasingly urbanized world. Hanging and geometric elements are made of aluminum, plexiglass and mesh to keep the weight low. Printed carpets, light boxes and greenery installations complete the setting.
Smart City Exhibition Design by Michele Berdugo has been recognized as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Smart City Exhibition Design was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
