Caribbean Villa
Caribbean Villa is a private residence located in a north-west suburb of Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. The two-storey home covers 5200 square feet and includes four ensuite bedrooms, a media room, a home office and an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. The exterior follows a traditional style, while the interior is modern. The foyer staircase, with an iron rail, hardwood treads and tiled risers, forms the main feature. A 30 foot white quartzite wall and a 15 foot window bring daylight into a small sitting area.
Caribbean Villa Residential House by Randall Waddell was selected as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Caribbean Villa Residential House was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design award that honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
