World of Rabbit
World of Rabbit is a model home interior located in a property sales office in Shapingba District, Chongqing. The space covers 70 square meters and follows a fairy tale theme built around a rabbit family. Bold colours and playful forms appear in each corner, and soft dolls represent the forest friends of the imagined owner. Several materials with a terrazzo texture are used to meet different design and functional needs. Plush fabric covers the bedroom feature wall to create a dreamlike mood. Most substrates are treated against damp and mould, because the local climate is humid and rainy.
World of Rabbit Sample Room by Ke Rong has been highlighted as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. World of Rabbit Sample Room won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program that rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
