Destruction White Private Club

Destruction White

Destruction White is a private club interior design covering 1200 square meters in Nanchang, China. The project follows a minimalist approach, and the original structure is broken open and rebuilt to create better connections between areas. Openings across floors link the dining area on the second floor with the open teahouse above. A suspended steel staircase with ultra-thin treads joins four levels. Materials include Arabescato, Bianco Botticino, Sunshine stone, Mongolia black, white matte paint board and wood flooring.

Destruction White Private Club by Don Lee has been highlighted as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Destruction White Private Club received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design competition which celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
