Flowers of Clouds

Flowers of Clouds is an observation tower with a coffee space, located in Da Lat City, Vietnam. The tower is formed by 27 steel modules, 12 meters high, shaped like a lotus flower. Corten steel covers the outer surface, and the foundations are made of reinforced concrete. The coffee space of 600 square meters is raised to a height of 8 meters and includes an internal well hole. A continuous ramp between two rows of columns leads visitors gradually upward. The roof is a garden and an outdoor coffee area with panoramic views of the landscape.

Flowers of Clouds Observation Tower and Coffee by Vu Van Hai has been featured as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Flowers of Clouds Observation Tower and Coffee won the Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2021. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a highly prestigious international design recognition program that honors exceptional design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
