Whyte Woolf Fitness Club

Whyte Woolf

Whyte Woolf is a fitness club interior located in Chengdu, covering 1800 square meters. The design takes inspiration from the biblical story of the Garden of Eden and reflects on the move from physical labor for survival to conscious exercise that shapes the body. The layout avoids wasted space, while symbolic figures and artistic installations give the simple interior the atmosphere of an art gallery. Materials include glass, aluminum alloy sections, white steel, artificial terrazzo, gypsum and plastic wood flooring.

Whyte Woolf Fitness Club by Arthur Yang has been identified as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Whyte Woolf Fitness Club received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize which honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
