Learn for Fun
Learn for Entertainment is a classroom interior designed for children in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The 50 square meter space uses an open plan with adjustable partitions set on fixed tracks, so the rooms can be rearranged for lessons, performances or science experiments. A theme wall with images of nature, whiteboards in a unique style and a low washbasin suit the height and interests of children. Wood, laminate flooring, low formaldehyde paints, acoustic materials, noise barriers and gentle lighting support a healthy and quiet learning environment.
Learn for Fun Classroom by Hsin-Pei Chiang was featured as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Learn for Fun Classroom received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
