Harmony Mindfulness
Harmony Mindfulness is a residential interior design for a 125 square meter home in Taoyuan, Taiwan. The layout mixes natural materials and calm tones to suit different daily needs. A wall mounted rotating column holds the television, so the living and dining areas remain separate yet connected without wasted space. Carbonized veneer defines the kitchen area and the master bedroom, while matte finishes support the main wall. Exposed ceilings and low formaldehyde materials reduce waste and help protect indoor air quality.
Harmony Mindfulness Residential Space by Ping-Yang Chen was identified as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Harmony Mindfulness Residential Space was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade that rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
