Connections
Connections is a residential interior design created for a family home in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The layout includes an entrance, a dining room, a living room, a kitchen, a multifunctional study, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The washbasin is moved out of the bathroom to widen the shared circulation area, and the study is opened to the public space. Iron parts, woodwork with spray painting, glass, marble, wallpaper and LED light tubes form modern lines. A sofa bed, a desk and suspended cabinets are custom made for the smaller room.
Connections Residence by JW Interior Design has been highlighted as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Connections Residence received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
