Sheneve
Sheneve is a bridal store interior of 400 square meters located in the old town of Wenzhou. The design was inspired by a slim lace wedding dress. Translucent gradient perforated aluminum panels form a light arc that appears to float on the concrete facade. Inside, soft lace curtains replace the original solid partition doors, so the areas remain separate while the space stays flexible. Light gray paint changes in texture with the daylight. An extendable curved golden tube display lets the dresses move freely instead of standing in fixed corners.
Sheneve Store by Michelle Zhou has been featured as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Sheneve Store earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
