Little Dome
Little Dome is a club interior located in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. The design integrates natural elements into the indoor space. Miniature plant landscapes bring the appearance of nature inside. A forest-like landscape greets visitors as they enter the club. The intent is to create an elegant and comfortable space within a busy metropolis. The main challenge was the location of the site, which limited the entry of sunlight and plants. Natural aesthetics are used to give the interior a calm atmosphere. The project was completed in 2019.
Little Dome Club by WenLi Wu has been identified as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Little Dome Club was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize which recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
