Atour Hotel
Atour Hotel is an interior design project for a hotel lobby and dining area. The entrance and lobby are asymmetrical, and guests first pass through a bamboo residence. A glass box adds interest to the inner courtyard and guides guests slowly into the lobby. Circle and square shapes connect the lobby and the dining room, and still water features add a sense of calm. The square glass box removes the boundary between the two areas. A round black mirror ceiling and lighting bring vitality. Changes in depth and texture support dining and social use.
Atour Hotel Interior Design by Shanghai Mijing Interior Design Co., Ltd was recognized as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Atour Hotel Interior Design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
