Pipa
Apartment Pipa is a residential interior design for a 159 square meter apartment in Curitiba, Brazil. The living room, dining room and barbecue area are integrated to form one wide and unified space. A staircase made entirely of Corian acts as the focal point of the home and replaces a poorly placed original stair. Corian was selected for its flexibility and durability. Wood surfaces and the punctual use of strong colors give each area its own identity. Signed Brazilian art and design pieces add lightness and value local artists.
Pipa Residential Apartment by Giuliano Marchiorato has been selected as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Pipa Residential Apartment won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award which rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
