The Manliness Attitude

The Manliness Attitude is a residential interior design completed in Hong Kong in 2019. The home was planned for a resident who works in the financial industry from home and lives with a dog. White walls finished in eco paint leave open space for an art collection. Wood, stone, black chrome stainless steel and wrought iron add texture, while grey, brown and black form a consistent colour scheme. A work area adjoins the living room and can be separated by a glass door. Laminated stone-like surfaces suit the humid mountain setting.

The Manliness Attitude Residential Interior Design by Andy Wan was highlighted as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. The Manliness Attitude Residential Interior Design received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design accolade which celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
