Pizza Marzano Select
Pizza Marzano Select is a pizza restaurant interior located in Shanghai. The design concept comes from the geometric shapes formed when a pizza is cut and shared. Half circle forms are applied to the facade opening, the columns and the kitchen walls. A feature wall carries thousands of blue acrylic sticks that can be arranged in different patterns. The ceilings use acoustic materials, and a curved ceiling section is finished with perforated acoustic panels. Flexible tables seat single guests, small groups and parties of more than ten people.
Pizza Marzano Select Restaurant by JYDP has been featured as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Pizza Marzano Select Restaurant earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition that celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
