Jianyang Culture
Jianyang Culture and Art Center is a cultural and art complex in Chengdu covering 48200 square meters. The overall concept is based on green, sports and culture, and a vitality ring connects the separate buildings of the different plots. The grand theater stands at the end of the vitality ring. The theater interior takes dancing ribbons as its design language, creating a smooth and dynamic atmosphere that echoes the flowing architectural form. Warm bamboo and wood veneer and marble with natural texture balance the space in a simple way.
Jianyang Culture Art Center by Jian Wang was highlighted as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Jianyang Culture Art Center earned the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade which rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
