Bathing in Sunshine
Bathing in the Sunshine is a residential interior design for an apartment of 135.5 square meters in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The home contains an entrance, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a study, three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Wood grain surfaces, marble tiles and a light color palette create a warm and calm atmosphere. Many storage cabinets and a window seat used as a reading area are provided. The bedroom is placed between the dressing room and the bathroom to keep the dressing room dry. Furniture was rearranged to improve circulation in the narrow hallway.
Bathing in Sunshine Residence by Yu-Chun Yi has been selected as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Bathing in Sunshine Residence was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020.
