Lullaby
Lullaby is a children's library located in the shared facilities of a condominium building in Taiwan. The high-ceilinged space above the reading table holds a large white tree installation, which symbolizes learning and steady growth. A pure white base tone highlights rainbow curves and colorful details, giving the reading area a lively character. Arc shapes are repeated throughout, including a high arched entrance and round windows that recall those of aircraft. The 27 square meter room turns a small corner into a safe and playful place for young readers.
Lullaby Children’s Library by Chin-Feng Wu has been identified as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Lullaby Children’s Library was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design prize that recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
