South Branch Sign
South Branch Sign is the interior design of a Hong Kong-style chain restaurant in Changzhou. The project covers a total of 500 square meters. Different materials and colors define the functional areas, so physical partitions are reduced and the layout is read through invisible divisions. Terrazzo, wood, leather and mirror create a rich and varied spatial texture. Smooth lines run across the walls and the ceiling, and inlaid lighting highlights the fine details. The result is a calm and transparent space with a simple texture and a rational, modern character.
South Branch Sign Restaurant by Ouyang Tiao was recognized as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. South Branch Sign Restaurant received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize that honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
